About Karina

Karina Miller is a photographer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. She works between abstracted landscape and documentary portraiture, using close framing, shadow, and unfamiliar vantage points to make ordinary things harder to place. Her ongoing series photographs eroded coastal rock at distances that remove any sense of scale. Her work has been exhibited at Queen City Art in Charlotte and at the University of North Florida, where she earned a B.S. in Communication and an M.S. in Communication Management. She studied photography and art history in Italy in 2024 and serves on the board of Queen City Art.
